Cleanup time

Let’s meet at the Beverley Tennis Club at 8:30am on Wednesday 23rd April and come prepared for a short walk and cleanup towards the main bridge. Allow two hours.

This will give us a chance to clean out any rubbish under the bridge that might have collected and be ready to wash downstream, plus familiarise ourselves with the shore areas in that spot.

Long pants, closed shoes and a bag for rubbish will be handy; Gloves for picking up debris and pulling weeds, maybe a small implement to help move difficult items. Rubbish can be deposited in a trailer and it will be taken it to the tip on the weekend, or we can stack it and ask the Shire to remove it if there is a lot.

If we clear that area quickly we can venture to the south side of the bridge.

Before leaving around 10:30, we will need to have a short discussion about the signage we want to suggest to Jacinta for the walk trail along the river, plus an update on some river things that have been coming our way recently.
