Tree planting

We’re so very much looking forward to our first collaboration with the Beverley District High School for our first tree planting on Friday 8th August.

Please register your interest via Email to join in for a couple of hours from midday starting with a briefing and then buddying up with school cadets.

Location will be at the river end of John Street, down from the school. Please park opposite the school under the trees near the swimming pool so we don’t crowd up the school buses or pick up if we get later into the day.

We have 700 trees provided by Beverley Naturalist Club INC. and very generous donated tree guards and poles.
York River Conservation Society will be loaning us 14 tree planters.

Please come dressed for outdoor activity including strong shoes, clothes covering arms and legs, water bottle. A light trowel or rake to clear weeds would be helpful.
